Classroom Based Research for Sight Words
This past winter we researched the effectiveness of your Sight Words program using our two First Grade classes. We pre-tested them on the 300 words included in the software package, used the program with them three times a week for 30 minutes for a two month period, and then post-tested them on the same words. Our results are included on the attached excel spreadsheet.
We noted a 20 percent overall increase in word recognition as a result of our study.
